We are told in the Secret Doctrine that “the seven solar Rays dilate to seven suns and set fire to the whole cosmos.” (cccv) This it is which produces that final burning which ushers in the great pralaya, and brings to an end the logoic incarnation. It is produced under this Law of Expansion, and causes that eventual merging and blending of the seven sacred planetary schemes which marks the achievement of the goal, and their eventual perfection.

Bốn tế-phân của ham muốn (desire) sẽ được nghiên cứu trong Brahmana của Sama-Veda.
1. Ham muốn hiểu biết; nguồn gốc.
2. Ham muốn sở hữu; về sau.
3. Ham muốn củng cố sở hữu, nghĩa là chọn các giai đoạn cần thiết, tức hành động, cái sẽ đem lại sở hữu; và sau cùng.
4. Sự thành đạt – các giai đoạn theo thứ tự này là bốn tiểu phân, ham muốn dựa trên hiểu biết (cognitive – desire), ham muốn đích thực (desire-proper), ham muốn thiết thực (active-desire) và ham muốn tóm lược (summation-desire).

The four sub-divisions of desire should be studied in the Brahmana of the Sama-veda. (1) The desire to know; whence (2) the desire to possess; thereafter (3) the desire to secure possession, i.e., to take the necessary steps, the action, that will bring possession; and finally (4) the attainment—these respectively are the four sub-divisions, cognitive-desire, desire-proper, active-desire and summation-desire.
“The ruler of desire is Shiva and his instruction to his sub-hierarchs takes this shape: Behold, our work is the work of destruction. The order and the way thereof are these. This should be destroyed first, this afterwards; and such and such work of the nature of negation should be performed. First, make enquiry, entertain the 'desire to know,' and thoroughly and fully understand the nature of the I and the This. Then entertain the desire to possess, 'I shall obtain the This and the I.' Having obtained them, you will pass on to the Negation, to the declaration, 'no (I want them no more).' In the Negation is the summation, sam-a-hara, 'bringing all together,' and it is the sam-hara also, the 'taking all in,' re-absorption, destruction.”—Pranava-Vada, p. 364.
