This process of unfoldment is itself brought about by five crises of awakening, so that we have a threefold process and a fivefold movement.

This centre eventually becomes the great clearing house for all the lower forces and marks the period of the shift into a higher body, the astral body. This was characteristic of Atlantean racial development.
