CHAPTER X - THE UNIVERSALITY OF INITIATION
Trong các giáo huấn huyền bí, đã có nhiều lần nhấn mạnh rằng tiến trình điểm đạo, như người ta thường hiểu, vốn không bình thường mà là một tiến trình khác thường. Mọi sự tiến triển trong lãnh vực tâm thức đương nhiên là do một loạt các giác ngộ tăng dần, nhưng điều này hẳn sẽ phải diễn tiến một cách tuần tự hơn rất nhiều và qua một thời kỳ lâu dài hơn là theo các điều kiện hiện nay của hành tinh chúng ta. Phương cách phát triển tâm thức đặc biệt này của gia đình nhân loại đã được Thánh Đoàn mở ra trong căn chủng Atlantis vào giai đoạn cuối của phân chủng thứ tư, và sẽ kéo dài cho đến giữa vòng tiến hoá sắp tới. Đến chừng đó, sức kích thích cần thiết đã được truyền đạt, và bấy giờ, khi ba phần năm gia đình nhân loại đã “bước trên đường đạo” về mặt nội môn, và một số lớn họ đang trong tiến trình trở thành chính Đường Đạo, thì phương thức bình thường hơn sẽ lại được sử dụng.
It has been emphasised many times in the occult teachings that the process of initiation, as it is usually understood, is an abnormal and not a normal one. All progression in the realm of consciousness is naturally by a graded series of awakenings, but this would proceed much more gradually and cover a longer period of time than is the case under our present planetary conditions. This particular mode of developing the consciousness of the human family was initiated by the Hierarchy during the Atlantean root-race at the latter end of the fourth sub-race, and will persist until the middle of the next round. At that time the needed stimulus will have been imparted, and as three-fifths of the human family will then have esoterically “set their feet upon the path,” and a large percentage of them will then be in process of becoming the Path itself, the more normal routine will again be resumed.
