hay là sự kiểm soát thể trí. Khi qua khoa này hành giả đã hoàn toàn làm chủ thể trí và chất liệu trí tuệ hay vật chất tư tưởng, thì bấy giờ y thoát khỏi sự kiềm tỏa của các hình thể vốn đang giam giữ đa số mọi người trong tam giới.

Nay y đã hóa giải đại ảo tưởng. Các thể mà từ trước đến giờ đã ràng buộc y thì nay không còn thế nữa. Những dòng ý tưởng, tư tưởng và dục vọng mạnh mẽ vốn bắt nguồn từ “các biến thái của nguyên khí tư duy” nơi những người đang bị lao tù trong tam giới, thì nay không còn chi phối hay ảnh hưởng được y. Hậu quả của chúng là vô số hình tư tưởng được tạo nên ở cõi trí, cõi cảm dục và cõi trần. Các hình tư tưởng ấy nay không còn che án tầm mắt của y trước những điều thực tế, thế giới chân thực của các nguyên nhân, và những phóng phát mãnh lực. Y không còn bị lừa gạt, và có thể phân biệt được điều thật và không thật, điều đúng và điều sai, giữa sự sống tinh thần và thế giới hiện tượng. Y bắt đầu chịu ảnh hưởng của những dòng tư tưởng, và thế giới các ý tưởng phát xuất từ các đấng tinh thần cao cả, và nguồn sống tinh thần. He stands then apart from the great illusion; the bodies which have hitherto held him no longer do so; the great currents of ideas and thoughts and desires which have their origin through the “modifications of the thinking principle” of men imprisoned in the three worlds no longer sway or affect him; and the myriad thought forms which are the result of these currents in the mental, astral and physical worlds no longer shut him away from the realities or from the true subjective world of causes, and of force emanations. He is no longer deceived and can discriminate between the real and the unreal, between the true and the false, and between the life of the spirit and the world of phenomena. He becomes subject then to the currents of thought, and the world of ideas emanating from great spiritual entities, from spiritual lives, and the great plan of the Architect of the Universe can unroll itself before him. He is liberated and free and subject only to the new conditions of the life of the man who has made the great at-one-ment. The laws of the three worlds are not superseded but are transcended, for the greater always includes the lesser and though—for purposes of service—he may choose to limit himself to a seemingly three dimensional life, yet he goes forth into the world of higher dimensions at his pleasure, and when needed for the extension of the kingdom of God.
